Heather Stevens, LMT

Heather Stevens is a licensed massage therapist and has been practicing since 2004. Heather is the sole proprietor of Willow’s Bend Therapeutic Massage where she demonstrates the value of education and strives to assist people in understanding how to address the dysfunctions that they struggle against.  Because she is also the spouse of an active-duty US Army soldier, she finds that her practice often leads her to work with patients that suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other significant medical disorders. She always strives to help people recover from the painful conditions they experience to help them lead a more fulfilled life. Through the course of her career, she has worked within various clinics including chiropractic offices and interdisciplinary pain management clinics.

In 2004, she graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Therapeutic Massage located in Burlington, Massachusetts. Upon completion of their 775-hour program, she has worked in Massachusetts, Arizona, Texas, and the United Kingdom. Throughout the years she has engaged in continuing education that consists of myofascial release, reiki, and corrective exercise. In 2021, Heather graduated cum laude, with her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports and Health Science from the American Public University System (APUS). She plans to utilize the skills obtained through her BSc to further assist individuals within her role as a massage therapist.

Heather has volunteered with American Veterans Mission (AVM) over the past few years. While working with AVM, she found an organization that could be significantly beneficial not only to help the local Fort Hood and surrounding communities but to also assist soldiers that may be struggling with life events. 

Willow's Bend Therapeutic Massage is located in Central Texas and serves the Lampasas, Killeen, Waco, and  North Austin regions.
